Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter

The S107 is a remote control helicopter from Syma that is very budget friendly and is ideal for children 12 years and older. It is ideal for indoor use since it’s small and compact and is controlled via infrared and not radio.

Unboxing

The box is very compact and what you get inside is the pre-assembled RC helicopter itself, the actual remote control, the USB changing cable and the very easy to follow instructions manual.

Important to note that the helicopter comes with a small wired in battery and that is what you will be charging with the charging cable. However the batteries for the remote control are not included.

Battery Life

One question on anyone’s mind who buys this is how long does the battery last on one charge?

Depending on the range of flight we found it last anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes while a full charge takes approximately 45 minutes.

Worth noting that 10 minutes might not seems like a lot but it’s actually a lot since you are having a lot of fun during that time and actively engaged in trying to control and fly the helicopter.

Difference Between S107 and S107G models

If you’re looking to buy this RC helicopter of of Amazon you will noticed that there are two models namely the S107 and S107G. What does the G stand for but most importantly what is the difference between the two? Well the answer is that the only difference is the labeling. Some models will be shipped with the extra G on the label and that is the only difference. So when you order one of these models you might either get one with the extra G or one without the G. That certainly adds a dose of surprise to your order. 🙂
